This Horse Pairs Dressage Carriage came to us to be fitted with delayed steering with the swingletrees fitted to follow the pole and delay in the steering, rather than attached by lazy bars to the carriage. In order to do this we had to completely strip down and make a whole new fore carriage as there was not the room to simply retrofit. We pride ourselves in being able to modify and leave the carriage looking like it came out the factory with the modification right down to colour matching the metallic paint work and pinstriping.
This carriage came to us with some very damaged Stainless wheels. On inspection there were irreparable cracks on quite a few of the spokes or right next to a spoke.
We made new wheels with rubber clincher using the existing hubs,
This little carriage came in with very well used bonded tyres on its wheels, We removed the rubber and welded in place clincher channel to take our rubber. This can only be done if the metal surface is in good condition and enough clearance under the carriage. If not then we cut out the spokes and hubs and weld the channel straight onto the existing spokes.
